Francisco de Assis Airport serves Juiz de Fora, a city in the Zona da Mata of Minas Gerais. Its ICAO code is SBJF. Locals call it Serrinha. It sits at 911 metres above sea level on Avenida Prefeito Mello Reis, in the Santos Dumont district, on a site of about 352,000 square metres.

An air taxi link to Belo Horizonte ran from 2016 to 2017. Today the airport handles executive and general aviation. Infraero took over operation and management in June 2022 under a 24-month contract.
