Jamnagar Airport guide

Jamnagar Airport is a civil enclave on an Indian Air Force base in the Saurashtra region of Gujarat. The airport is officially named Civil Enclave Jamnagar. It sits about 8 km from the city centre, linked by a four-lane highway. The Indian Air Force owns the site and the Airports Authority of India runs the civil side.

Scheduled flights serve Mumbai and Navi Mumbai with Air India, Air India Express and IndiGo, and Star Air flies to Ahmedabad and Surat. The Airports Authority of India reports 166,490 passengers and 3,620 aircraft movements for April 2025 to March 2026. Passengers fell 1.5 percent on the previous year while movements rose 12.9 percent. Much of the demand comes from the refinery complex and businesses around Jamnagar.

The airfield has two runways, 06/24 at about 2,512 m (concrete) and 12/30 at about 2,510 m (asphalt). It is the only airport in Gujarat with two. The civil terminal stands on 35 acres and handles about 150 passengers at a time. It has a small lounge with a cafeteria and a baggage conveyor in arrivals. The apron takes two Airbus A320s, and the car park holds about 50 vehicles.
