Vadodara International Airport guide

Vadodara Airport, also called Harni Airport, serves Vadodara and central Gujarat. It stands in the Harni area on the north-eastern side of the city, at an elevation of 38.7 m. The Airports Authority of India owns and operates it.

The airfield has one asphalt runway, 04/22, which is 2,469 m long. The Integrated Terminal Building was inaugurated on 22 October 2016. It covers 18,120 sq m, has 18 check-in counters and is built to handle 700 passengers an hour, 500 domestic and 200 international. Construction ran from May 2011 to August 2016 and cost 1.6 billion rupees. The older domestic terminal, with 4,519 sq m of floor space, has a capacity of 250 passengers. The apron has night parking for about nine Airbus A320 or Boeing 737 aircraft.

In the 2025-26 financial year the airport handled 1,298,410 passengers, up 2.7 percent on the year before, and 8,778 aircraft movements. It also moved 1,718.7 tonnes of cargo. IndiGo uses Vadodara as a focus city, with flights to Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Pune. Air India flies to Delhi and Mumbai.
