Castres Mazamet Airport Guide
Castres-Mazamet Airport (ICAO LFCK) is a small regional airport in the Tarn department of southern France. It sits near the village of Labruguière, between the towns of Castres and Mazamet, in the foothills of the Montagne Noire.
The airport opened in 1990. A mixed syndicate of local authorities, the Syndicat Mixte de l'aéroport régional de Castres-Mazamet, owns it, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry runs it. The single concrete runway, 14/32, is 1,825 metres long and 30 metres wide. The passenger terminal covers about 600 square metres and is designed for around 80,000 passengers a year.
Scheduled service is limited. Chalair Aviation flies the Paris-Orly route, which is a public service obligation link subsidised by local authorities. In 2025 the airport handled 30,259 passengers. Most of its aircraft movements are non-commercial: 6,077 of the 7,156 recorded that year. They include business, training and private flights.
Road access is by car or taxi. Castres is about ten minutes away and Mazamet about fifteen. Toulouse lies roughly 80 kilometres to the west.
