Béziers Vias airport guide

Béziers Cap d'Agde Airport sits near Vias in the Hérault department of southern France, about 11.5 km southeast of Béziers. It serves the Languedoc coast, including the Cap d'Agde resort. The airport is a small regional field run by a public syndicate.

Scheduled traffic is almost entirely Ryanair. Year-round flights connect to Brussels Charleroi, and a larger summer programme links the airport with Bristol, Edinburgh, London Luton, London Stansted, Manchester, Shannon, Stockholm Arlanda and Weeze. The summer season runs from late March to late October, so winter schedules are thin.

The single runway was lengthened to 2,000 m between 2006 and 2007 so it could take Boeing 737 jets. The terminal handles two aircraft at a time. Regional trains and TGV services pass beside the terminal, but there is no station at the airport. Short-stay and shaded long-stay car parks are on site, and a shuttle bus runs to the terminal.
