Breves Airport guide

Breves Airport (ICAO SNVS) serves the municipality of Breves on Marajó Island in the Brazilian state of Pará. It lies about 7 km from the town centre at an elevation of 30 m above sea level. The airport is registered with the Brazilian civil aviation authority ANAC under local identifier PA0015.

The airfield has a single asphalt runway, 07/25, which is 1,600 m long. That length suits turboprops and light aircraft, and the airport has no jet bridge or large terminal complex.

Scheduled service is operated by Azul Conecta with Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft, flying to Belém's Val-de-Cans International Airport and to Porto de Moz. Breves sits in a region of rivers and channels where many communities have no road link, so air service gives a quick connection to the state capital. No scheduled public bus or shuttle serves the airport, and visitors usually reach town by taxi or mototaxi.
