Altamira Interstate Airport (ICAO SBHT) serves the city of Altamira on the Xingu River in the Brazilian state of Pará. It sits about 7 km from the city centre, at an elevation of 112 m, and has one asphalt runway, 07/25, that is 2,003 m long.
The airport was commissioned in 1979 and was run by Infraero until Aena Brasil took over on 30 November 2023 under a 30-year concession won in 2022. Construction of the nearby Belo Monte Dam brought a runway extension and a larger apron and passenger terminal from late 2011.
Scheduled service is light. Azul flies to Belém, and the airport handled 87,518 passengers and 2,363 aircraft operations in 2025. Aena has planned to enlarge the terminal from 1,200 m² to 2,600 m² and to add a PAPI approach light system on runway 25.
