Nelson Ribeiro Guimarães Airport, also known as Caldas Novas Airport (ICAO: SBCN), serves the hot-spring resort city of Caldas Novas and the neighbouring resort of Rio Quente in the state of Goiás, Brazil. It sits at an elevation of about 700 metres, close to the BR-290 road.
The airport has a single asphalt runway, 09/27, about 2,100 metres long. It was built and run by the municipality of Caldas Novas. Since November 2015 the private company Socicam has managed it under a concession from the municipality.
Traffic is seasonal and follows the holiday periods that fill the resorts. The airport recorded 62,362 passengers on scheduled flights in 2024, 11 percent more than in 2023, on 582 scheduled operations. July was the busiest month with 14,505 passengers. Extra flights are added in the July high season and for events such as the Caldas Country Festival in November.
