Guarapari Airport guide

Guarapari Airport (ICAO SNGA) sits at Praia do Morro, about 4 km from downtown Guarapari on the coast of Espírito Santo. It stands 9 metres above sea level and has a single asphalt runway, 06/24, listed by ANAC and DECEA at 1,088 metres.

The Guarapari city government administers the airport. No scheduled airline flights operate here today. It handles executive flights and small aircraft on non-scheduled operations, and the city has described the field as suited to small and medium-sized aircraft.

Regular passenger service ended in 2002, when TAM stopped its route linking Belo Horizonte, Guarapari and Vitória. The airport went about 18 years without a commercial flight. In the 2020-21 summer season, Azul Conecta planned daily Cessna Gran Caravan flights to Belo Horizonte from 17 December 2020 to 31 January 2021, and the city planned work on the restrooms and departure lounge ahead of them.

Travellers who need an airline connection use Vitória's airport, which has a longer main runway of 2,058 metres.
