Carnarvon Airport (ICAO YCAR) serves the Gascoyne region of Western Australia. It lies 2.1 km from the centre of Carnarvon and sits 4 metres above sea level. The Shire of Carnarvon owns and operates it.

Two sealed asphalt runways handle the traffic. Runway 04/22 is 1,679 metres long and runway 18/36 is 1,140 metres.

Regional Express (Rex) is the only scheduled airline. It flies from Perth, with a stop at Shark Bay (Monkey Mia) on the way. Two flights a day run Monday to Friday and one a day on weekends. Rex uses Saab 340 aircraft on most services and National Jet Express Q400s on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Demand is seasonal and peaks in summer, when the schedule adds extra flights and some services use Dash 8-400s. Virgin Australia Regional Airlines, Skippers Aviation and Ansett served the airport in the past.

Passengers book directly with Rex or through the local travel agent, Everywhere Travel.
