Abakan International Airport guide
Updated 2026-10-08Abakan International Airport is the main airport of the Republic of Khakassia in southern Siberia. It lies a few kilometres northwest of Abakan, and since autumn 2020 its land has been inside the limits of neighbouring Chernogorsk. The centre of Abakan is roughly five kilometres to the southeast. The airport is named after General Vasily Tikhonov.
