The Blue Line operates between approximately 4 a.m. and midnight, with 24-hour shuttle service between airport terminals. Travel time from the airport to Mall of America is about 12 minutes and to downtown Minneapolis (Target Field) is less than 30 minutes. The Blue Line provides seamless transfers to other Metro Transit light rail and bus routes.
Route 54
Route 54 is a limited-stop bus service directly connecting MSP Airport (Terminal 1-Lindbergh) to downtown St. Paul via West 7th Street. Buses operate every 15â30 minutes, with a typical travel time of about 20 minutes between the airport and downtown St. Paul. Key stops include Mall of America and St. Paul Union Depot. This route is a primary link between the airport and St. Paulâs central business district. Note: Route 54 does not serve Terminal 2; passengers at Terminal 2 must use the Blue Line to reach Terminal 1 for bus connections.
