Necochea Airport (IATA NEC, ICAO SAZO) serves Necochea, a coastal city on the Atlantic shore of Buenos Aires Province. The airfield sits in open countryside about 8 km northwest of the city, at an elevation of 22 m, on a site of roughly 280 hectares. It is listed in the Argentine national airport system as Aeropuerto Edgardo Hugo Yelpo.

The airport has three runways. Runway 18/36 is asphalt and 1,501 m long. Runway 17/35 is grass and 1,090 m long. Runway 13/31 is grass and 800 m long. The single passenger terminal covers about 460 square metres.

LAER announced flights between Aeroparque Jorge Newbery in Buenos Aires and Necochea in May 2012, after the aerodrome completed the first stage of renovations.
