Kurumoch International Airport guide

Kurumoch International Airport serves Samara and Tolyatti in Russia's Volga region. It lies about 35 km north of Samara and about 49 km from Tolyatti. The airport entered service in 1961, and its development was approved in the late 1950s.

The main passenger terminal opened in January 2015 and covers 42,600 square metres. It was built ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. A separate business aviation terminal handles private and charter traffic.

The airport has two runways. Runway 15/33 is concrete and measures 3,001 m by 45 m, and runway 05/23 is asphalt concrete and measures about 2,550 m by 60 m. Using both runways together, the airport can handle up to 56 operations per hour in favourable conditions.

Aeroports Regionov, part of the Renova Group, operates the airport. It handled 3.57 million passengers in 2024, up from about 3.09 million in 2018. More than 20 airlines fly from Kurumoch, among them Aeroflot, S7 Airlines, Ural Airlines and Red Wings Airlines, with routes to Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Sochi and to Central Asian cities such as Tashkent and Almaty.
