Nogliki Airport guide

Nogliki Airport serves the settlement of Nogliki in the north of Sakhalin Island, Sakhalin Oblast. Its ICAO code is UHSN. The airfield lies about 3.5 km south of the settlement at an elevation of roughly 36 m.

The airport has one asphalt runway, 04/22, measuring 1,750 by 35 metres. An asphalt surface replaced the earlier gravel strip in 2004, and ExxonMobil and Sakhalin Energy funded upgrades for their regional oil and gas projects. The runway takes aircraft up to 60 tonnes, including the An-24, An-26, An-140, Il-114, Yak-40 and DHC-8, as well as helicopters of all types. The airport held seasonal international status from 2013 to 2017.

Scheduled flights are operated by Aurora, which connects Nogliki with Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Khabarovsk. The operator is Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Airport. Annual traffic was 40,900 passengers in 2017, up from 36,600 the year before.
