Plastun Airport guide

Plastun Airport serves the coastal settlement of Plastun in the Terney District of Primorsky Krai, in the Russian Far East. The airport sits at an elevation of 17 metres, close to the Sea of Japan. Its ICAO code is UHWP. The nearest road-linked towns are small, and the airport gives this thinly populated stretch of coast an air link to the regional capital.

The airport has one runway, 13/31, which measures 1,600 by 30 metres and has an unpaved surface. Russian sources list it as a landing site rather than a full commercial airport. GUP Plastun Avia operates it. Traffic is light: the regional timetable lists a single carrier, Aurora, flying to Vladivostok, and sources disagree on the weekly frequency. Check the current schedule with the airline before you plan a trip.

The airport has a single small passenger building that handles both arrivals and departures, with no separate domestic and international areas. Because aircraft are small and seats are limited, flights fill quickly in holiday periods.
