Nyagan Airport guide

Nyagan Airport (ICAO USHN) serves the town of Nyagan in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, also known as Yugra. It lies about 12 km east of the town. The airport opened in 1993 and is run by Aeroport-Nyagan JSC.

It has a single concrete runway, 16/34, measuring 2,532 m by 44 m. The runway takes regional aircraft and medium-size airliners. A new passenger terminal building has been commissioned, although a Russian Wikipedia entry notes it stood largely empty because the airport had no base carrier.

Traffic is small and has declined: 41,100 passengers used the airport in 2014 and 14,199 in 2017. Utair is the main airline, with flights to Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Nizhnevartovsk, Khanty-Mansiysk, Beloyarsky and Beryozovo. Red Wings has flown to Moscow Zhukovsky, and Yamal Airlines to Yekaterinburg. Schedules change often, so check with the airline before travelling.
