Yakushima Airport public transport guide

Tanegashima Yakushima Kotsu runs the island's main route bus network on Yakushima, part of the Kagoshima Kotsu group. Its coastal line calls at Yakushima Airport between Miyanoura Port and Anbo, with onward service to Onoaida, Iwasaki Hotel and Okawa Falls. Fares are paid in cash or with the Rapica card, and an unlimited-ride pass is sold in advance.

Matsubanda Kotsu, part of the Matsubanda Group, operates a route bus line on Yakushima that connects Miyanoura Port with Yakushima Airport, Anbo Port and the Yakusugi Natural Museum. It is the island's second route bus operator alongside Tanegashima Yakushima Kotsu, and fares are paid in cash on board.
