Yongzhou Lingling Airport lies on the boundary of Renwan Subdistrict in Lengshuitan District and Caishi Town, about 9 km from the centre of Yongzhou in southern Hunan. The airfield was first built in 1938 for military use. Civil flights began on 30 April 2001, stopped in October 2005 and resumed in January 2008.
