Jingdezhen Luojia Airport guide

Jingdezhen Luojia Airport serves the porcelain city of Jingdezhen in northeastern Jiangxi Province. It sits at Luojia Village in Hongyuan Town, Fuliang County, about 10 km northwest of the city centre, at an elevation of 34 m. Its ICAO code is ZSJD.

Construction began in November 1959 and the airport opened in September 1960, with its first flights to Nanchang. It closed in 1987 because it no longer met industry standards. The municipal government funded land acquisition for a rebuild from 1992, and the expanded airport reopened on 10 September 1996. A new terminal followed in 2010.

The single concrete runway, 04/22, is 2,400 m long and 45 m wide, and the airport is rated 4C. Scheduled flights link Jingdezhen with Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Kunming, Qingdao, Xiamen, Xi'an and Ningbo. In 2025 the airport handled 331,426 passengers and 3,290 aircraft movements, against a design capacity of 600,000 passengers a year.
