Hohhot Metro
Hohhot Metro operates the city's urban rail network. Line 1 runs from Yili Health Valley in the west through the downtown core to a pair of stations serving Hohhot Baita International Airport, giving the terminal a direct underground connection into central Hohhot without needing a road transfer.

Line 1 is Hohhot Metro's east-west line, running from Yili Health Valley through the city centre, past landmarks including the Inner Mongolia Museum and the municipal government, before terminating at Hohhot Baita International Airport. It calls at two airport-area stations, Baita West serving the international terminal and Bayan serving the domestic terminal.
