Baie-Comeau Airport guide

The airport sits in Pointe-Lebel, on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River, at 200 route de l'Aéroport. It lies about 15 km from downtown Baie-Comeau and stands 22 m above sea level. The MRC de Manicouagan owns and manages it.

A single asphalt runway, 10/28, runs west to east. It measures 1,829 m by 46 m. Two taxiways, Delta and Hôtel, link it to the apron. Nav Canada provides air traffic services from Mont-Joli around the clock, and the control tower building also houses an emergency coordination centre. The grounds cover about 712 acres.

The terminal building is about 950 m². Air Liaison and Central Mountain Air serve the airport. Avjet handles fuel and ramp services. The airport reports roughly 22,500 boarding and deplaning passengers a year and about 10,000 aircraft movements.
