Jackson Hole Airport sits inside Grand Teton National Park, about 11 km north of the town of Jackson, and is the only commercial airport in the United States within a national park. The site was developed in the 1930s, Western Airlines began the first scheduled service in 1941, and the Jackson Hole Airport Board has run it since 1968 under a use agreement with the National Park Service that runs to 2053.

A single asphalt runway, 1/19, measures 6,300 by 150 feet. The airport handled about 1.2 million passengers in 2025. Alaska, American, Delta and United fly year-round, and traffic peaks in July.

The terminal was expanded in two phases between 2009 and 2014 for just under $50 million. It has no jet bridges, so passengers walk across the apron and board by ramp, with the Teton Range in view.
