Laramie Regional Airport Guide
Laramie Regional Airport sits about 5 km west of Laramie in Albany County, southeastern Wyoming. It serves the city, the University of Wyoming and the surrounding region.
The field was built in 1934 and was known as Brees Field until 1992, named for Army general Herbert J. Brees. Its runways were paved in 1944 to take B-24 bombers, and airline flights began in 1945. The terminal building dates from 1959. Two asphalt runways remain: 3/21 at 8,502 feet and 12/30 at 6,300 feet. The airport logged 10,486 aircraft operations in 2018, about 29 a day.
United Express flies to Denver, the airport's only scheduled destination, under the federal Essential Air Service program. The airport recorded 17,850 enplanements in 2025, up from 17,580 in 2024. The Laramie Regional Airport Board owns the airport.
