Pangborn Memorial Airport sits on a plateau in Douglas County, about four miles east of Wenatchee in north-central Washington. It is named for Clyde Pangborn, who flew the first nonstop trans-Pacific flight in 1931 with Hugh Herndon. The field has existed since 1941, and Northwest Airlines began commercial passenger service in 1945. The City of Wenatchee ran the airport until it passed to the Port of Chelan County in 1965.

Alaska Airlines is the scheduled passenger carrier, with Horizon Air flying the Seattle/Tacoma route and a Portland route added in 2026. Ameriflight and FedEx Feeder carry cargo. SeaPort Airlines served the field until 2012.

The single asphalt runway, 12/30, measures 7,000 by 150 feet after a 2016 extension, and an instrument landing system has been active since 2006. The airport logged 44,376 aircraft operations in 2017, and about 89 percent were general aviation. Roughly 108 aircraft are based here. The terminal houses a food and beverage concession space with a commercial kitchen.
