Walla Walla Regional Airport sits about 5 km northeast of central Walla Walla in southeastern Washington. It began as the Walla Walla Army Air Base during the Second World War, where heavy bomber crews trained. The city and county took over the field in December 1947 and the Port of Walla Walla has owned and operated it since 1989.

Alaska Airlines is the only scheduled passenger carrier, with Horizon Air operating the flights to Seattle/Tacoma. Ameriflight handles cargo flights to regional centres such as Spokane and Yakima.

The airport has a single concrete grooved runway, 2/20, measuring 6,527 by 150 feet. It recorded 37,260 aircraft operations in 2024 and has 118 based aircraft, so general aviation and air taxi traffic make up most of its activity. The Port announced a passenger terminal improvement to handle Embraer 175 jets, which are replacing turboprop aircraft on the Seattle route. The airport is the main air gateway to the Walla Walla Valley and its wine region.
