Southwest Oregon Regional Airport guide

Updated 2026-10-18

Southwest Oregon Regional Airport is a public airport in North Bend, Coos County, on the Oregon coast. It opened in 1932 as the North Bend/Coos Bay Airport. The U.S. Navy commissioned a Naval Auxiliary Air Station on the site in 1943, and the field passed to the City of North Bend as surplus property in 1947. It carries its current name since April 2006, chosen to avoid confusion with Bend in central Oregon.
