Tulsa International Airport sits 8 km northeast of downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma, and serves as the primary commercial gateway for northeastern Oklahoma. The airport handled approximately 3.2 million passengers in 2025 and operates three runways, supporting around 107,000 aircraft movements annually.

Southwest Airlines carries the largest share of traffic at 36%, followed by American Airlines and SkyWest. Six carriers — Alaska, Allegiant, American, Delta, Southwest, and United — connect Tulsa to over 20 nonstop destinations. The airport is also home to American Airlines' global maintenance and engineering headquarters, the airline's largest maintenance base worldwide.

The current terminal building opened in 1961, designed by architect Robert Lawton Jones. A major expansion added Concourse B in 2012. The Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust oversees operations, and the airport reached a milestone in October 2025 with its first-ever commercial international service, a nonstop route to Cancun.
