Manchester-Boston Regional Airport sits about 5 km south of downtown Manchester, on the border with Londonderry. It is the busiest airport in New Hampshire and an alternative to Boston Logan for travelers in northern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. Boston is roughly 80 km to the south.

The airport began in 1927 as a city field. The current terminal opened in 1994, and the airport took its present name in 2006 to reflect its pull on the Boston market. Two asphalt runways serve it: 17/35 at 2,819 m and 6/24 at 2,332 m. Both are long enough for the cargo jets that operate here.

Southwest Airlines is the largest passenger carrier. American, United, Breeze Airways and Sun Country also fly from the airport, and passenger totals in 2025 were the highest since 2019. Cargo is a major part of the business. Amazon Air, FedEx and UPS moved more than 238 million pounds of freight through the airport in 2025. The City of Manchester owns the airport, and a single terminal handles all passenger flights.
