MBS International Airport sits in Freeland, Michigan, and serves the Tri-Cities area of Saginaw, Midland and Bay City. The FAA and IATA list the city as Saginaw, and pilots call the tower Saginaw Tower. The site covers about 3,200 acres at 668 feet above sea level.

The county land was bought in March 1942, and the federal government used it as an Army air base during World War II. Civilian control resumed on June 1, 1946. The field was long known as Tri-City Airport and took its current name in 1994 to avoid confusion with other Tri-City airports. Three owners share it: Bay County, Midland and Saginaw. A nine-member commission, with three seats from each, governs it.

Scheduled service is regional. United Express flies to Chicago O'Hare, and Delta Connection flies to Detroit Metropolitan. The airport handled 229,132 passengers and 18,351 aircraft operations in 2025, with 18 aircraft based on the field. Its longest runway, 5/23, measures 8,002 feet. The six-gate terminal opened in October 2012 and cost $55 million.
