Bishop International Airport sits at 3425 West Bristol Road in southwestern Flint, Michigan. Flint Township surrounds it on the north, east and west, and Mundy Township lies to the south. The site traces to 1928, when banker Arthur Giles Bishop donated 220 acres of farmland for an airfield.

The Bishop International Airport Authority runs the airport. Genesee County and the City of Flint created the authority in 1987. The current terminal was built in 1993, and a renovation and expansion was dedicated in November 2012. Runway 5/23 closed permanently in May 2009, leaving two runways: 18/36 at 7,849 feet and 9/27 at 7,201 feet.

Allegiant Air has run an operating base here since February 2022 and is the main passenger carrier, with nonstop flights to leisure destinations in Florida, Nevada, Arizona and elsewhere. American Eagle and United Express connect to Chicago O'Hare. FedEx Express also operates cargo flights. In 2025 the airport handled 687,489 passengers and 54,232 aircraft operations.
