A new terminal opened on 11 November 2016, when the airport took its present name to honour veterans. The airport recorded 27,751 aircraft operations in 2022, mostly general aviation.
Scheduled service is a single route to Chicago O'Hare under the federal Essential Air Service program. Contour Airlines took over the contract from Cape Air in August 2023.
