Grand Junction Regional Airport sits about three miles northeast of downtown Grand Junction in Mesa County, Colorado, at an elevation of 4,861 feet. The field covers 2,357 acres and is the main commercial airport for western Colorado and eastern Utah. It opened in 1930 as Grand Junction Municipal Airport, took the name Walker Field in 1942 after newspaper publisher Walter Walker, and became Grand Junction Regional Airport on May 15, 2007.

The Grand Junction Regional Airport Authority owns and runs the airport. Scheduled service goes to Denver on United Express, Dallas/Fort Worth and Phoenix on American Eagle, and Salt Lake City on Delta Connection. Breeze Airways flies to Las Vegas year-round and to Orange County in season. The airport handled 482,773 passengers in 2023 and 548,878 in 2019. In 2021 it logged 56,343 aircraft operations, which include general aviation, air taxi and military flights alongside airline traffic.

Two asphalt runways serve the field: 11/29 at 9,339 by 150 feet and 4/22 at 5,501 by 75 feet. Runway 11/29 is being replaced by a new, longer runway on a different alignment, and the old one will become a taxiway. The terminal is small, with three jet-bridge gates for regional jets and one gate that boards from outdoor stairs. A terminal expansion is in concept design.
