Merced Yosemite Regional Airport sits about 3 km southwest of downtown Merced in California's Central Valley. The City of Merced owns it. The city bought the site in 1940, and two runways were in place by 1942. The field was Merced Municipal Airport until 2009, then Merced Regional Airport until 2021, when the city added Yosemite to the name.

United Airlines began DC-3 service in 1946 and stopped flying here in 1979. Today a single asphalt runway, 12/30, handles traffic. It is 5,914 feet long and 150 feet wide, with an ILS approach. The second runway, 6/24, closed in 1967. A control tower has operated since 1975.

Most activity is general aviation. The FAA counted 58,650 aircraft operations in the year to November 2019, with about 93 percent general aviation and 6 percent airline, and 39 aircraft based on the field. Scheduled flights run under the federal Essential Air Service program. Contour Airlines took over the contract on 1 July 2026 for a four-year term, flying 30-seat regional jets to Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Connecting buses serve Amtrak and Yosemite National Park. A US$17 million terminal replacement began construction in 2023. Riggs Air bases its air ambulance service here.
