Imperial County Airport, also called Boley Field, sits about one nautical mile south of the centre of Imperial, California. The site lies partly inside the city and partly on unincorporated county land. Its elevation is 54 feet below mean sea level. The county owns it, and it serves the Imperial Valley, including El Centro.

Two asphalt runways handle the traffic. Runway 14/32 measures 5,308 by 100 feet and runway 8/26 measures 4,501 by 75 feet. Runway 8/26 is not available for scheduled air carrier operations with more than nine passenger seats.

Scheduled passenger flying began in 1943, when Western Airlines operated Douglas DC-3s. Bonanza Air Lines took over in 1953, and its successors Air West and Hughes Airwest followed. SkyWest flew as United Express from 1997 to 2013, then SeaPort Airlines and Mokulele Airlines served the field. Today a single carrier operates under the Essential Air Service program. The FAA recorded 7,373 passengers in 2024, and most other traffic is general aviation.
