Stockholm Arlanda Airport is Sweden's largest airport, located 40 km north of central Stockholm in Sigtuna Municipality. It handles around 22.7 million passengers a year across three operational passenger terminals and serves more than 150 destinations on 74 carriers. Three runways allow simultaneous operations across its 2,500-hectare site.

The airport is owned and operated by Swedavia, the state-owned company that runs Sweden's ten national airports. SAS and Norwegian are the dominant carriers, with Terminal 5 acting as their primary hub. Low-cost operations previously concentrated in the old Terminal 4 are now integrated into Terminal 5's Gate C area. Terminals 2 and 3 serve the southern side of the airport, handling non-Star Alliance international and regional traffic respectively.

Arlanda was ranked Europe's most punctual large airport in 2024 with 80% of departures on time. The Arlanda Express rail link reaches Stockholm Central Station in 18 minutes, running up to six times per hour. Domestic traffic has declined in recent years as short-haul rail travel grows, while international routes — particularly long-haul — have expanded with more than 40 new routes added in 2024.
