Wayzor is an Azores car rental company with a desk in the terminal at Horta Airport on Faial island. Its fleet includes economy cars, family cars and automatic vehicles, with fast online check-in and free cancellation before the rental. Cars can be collected and returned at the airport or in the island's towns, making it simple to reach Capelinhos and the Caldeira.
Avis has a rental counter inside the Horta Airport terminal on Faial island, just past baggage reclaim and signposted from arrivals. The rental car park is a short walk from the terminal entrance, so no shuttle is needed. The branch offers vehicle rentals with optional damage waivers, theft protection, personal accident cover and roadside assistance for exploring the island.
Ilha Verde Rent-A-Car is an Azorean rental company with a branch at Horta Airport, listed on its Faial page as an airport pick-up and drop-off point. Renters can collect and return a car at the airport and explore the island by road. The company also serves other Azores islands, so multi-island itineraries can be arranged with one operator.
Autatlantis Rent a Car is an Azores-based rental company with a branch at Horta Airport on Faial island. Its fleet covers city cars, commercial vehicles and larger models, and bookings can combine several islands. The company also runs a counter at Horta harbour and provides roadside assistance and customer support lines to renters during their trip.
