Pokhara Domestic Airport guide

Pokhara Domestic Airport sits in the city of Pokhara, in Gandaki Province, at an elevation of about 827 m (2,712 ft). The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal established it on 4 July 1958. Its single asphalt runway, 04/22, is 1,433 m long, and the apron handles eight propeller aircraft at a time.

Most operations moved to the separate Pokhara International Airport on 1 January 2023. The older airport still handles domestic flights to Jomsom, helicopter services, and mountain and rescue flights. Tara Air, a company with a focus city here, and Sita Air operate scheduled Jomsom services, Summit Air offers charter flights to the same destination, and several ultralight companies run recreational and sightseeing flights.

The airport is owned by the Government of Nepal and operated by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal. Schedules on the Jomsom route vary with the season and weather, so confirm flight times with the airline before travelling.
