Tren Felipe Ángeles
Tren Felipe Ángeles is Mexico's government-owned commuter rail service, created when the federal government nationalized the formerly private Suburbano network in 2026 and renamed it. Its Buenavista-AIFA branch gives downtown Mexico City a direct rail link to Felipe Ángeles International Airport, running through the State of Mexico via Lechería on newly built track. The line is managed by Fonadin under the Agencia de Trenes y Transporte Público Integrado and shares the capital's integrated mobility card system.

The Buenavista-AIFA branch covers 43 km from Buenavista station in central Mexico City to the AIFA terminal: 19.5 km shared with the historic Suburbano corridor toward Lechería, then 23 km of newly built track through Cueyamil, La Loma, Teyahualco, Prados Sur, Cajiga and Xaltocan. As of mid-2026 it runs 4 of a planned 10 trainsets at roughly 30-minute intervals with a maximum speed of 100 km/h, completing the trip in under 60 minutes; the government's stated target is a 15-minute frequency, 130 km/h and a 43-minute trip once more trainsets enter service.
