Al Massira Airport Guide
Agadir–Al Massira Airport is located in the commune of Temsia, approximately 24 km southeast of Agadir city centre. It opened in December 1991, replacing the former Inezgane Airport to meet growing demand from Morocco's tourism industry. The airport sits at 69 metres elevation and its single runway can accommodate aircraft up to Boeing 747 size.
The airport serves Morocco's primary resort region on the Atlantic coast. Royal Air Maroc operates most domestic routes and a range of European services, while low-cost carriers including Ryanair, easyJet, Transavia France, and Volotea connect Agadir to cities across the UK, France, Spain, and other European countries. In 2024 the airport handled a record 3 million passengers, up sharply from 2.3 million in 2023, making it Morocco's third-busiest airport.
Managed by the Office National des Aéroports (ONDA), the single terminal has a total area of 26,550 square metres and is divided into sections for domestic and international flights. The airport also offers ONDA's Salon Convives de Marque VIP service.
