Mohammed V International Airport sits in Nouaceur Province, about 30 km southeast of Casablanca city centre. It is Morocco's busiest airport and one of Africa's major aviation hubs, handling over 10 million passengers in 2024. The airport accounts for roughly a third of all passenger traffic across Morocco's airport network.
Royal Air Maroc uses CMN as its primary hub, with connections across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and North America. Two parallel runways, each 3,720 metres long, support continuous operations.
The airport is served by a direct rail link — the Al Bidaoui express train — connecting the terminals to Casablanca's Casa Voyageurs station in under 30 minutes. A major expansion project, a new H-shaped terminal with capacity for 35 million passengers annually, is under construction and expected to complete by 2029.
