Fes Saïss International Airport Guide
Fès–Saïss Airport sits about 15 km south of Fez city center, serving Morocco's second-largest urban area and one of its oldest imperial cities. The airport is operated by ONDA (Office National des Aéroports), Morocco's state airports authority. A single runway (09/27, 3,200 m asphalt) handles all traffic.
The airport passed one million passengers in 2017, the same year a new terminal opened and expanded capacity from 500,000 to 2.5 million passengers per year. In 2024 it recorded 1,948,135 passengers. Ryanair is the dominant carrier by frequency, operating routes across Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands. Air Arabia Maroc, Royal Air Maroc, Transavia, Eurowings, and Vueling also serve the airport.
The airport functions across two connected terminals — a modern T1 opened in 2017 for the majority of scheduled and international flights, and an older T2 used for some charter and budget operations. Bus line 16 links the airport to Fez railway station in around 40 minutes.
