Miyako Airport (宮古空港, ICAO ROMY) is the main air gateway to Miyako-jima, the largest of the Miyako Islands in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. It sits on the south-eastern side of the island, a short drive from Hirara, the main town. Japan classes it as a local airport managed by the prefectural government.

The site began as an Imperial Japanese Navy airfield built in 1943. Scheduled civilian flights linking Naha, Miyako and Ishigaki started in 1956. A single asphalt runway, 04/22, runs 2,000 metres by 45 metres and has an instrument landing system. The present terminal building came into use on 17 July 1997 and is run by Miyako Airport Terminal Co. An extension of the departure lounge opened on 20 July 2020, roughly doubling the floor area.

Most traffic is domestic. Flights connect the island with Naha and Tokyo Haneda, with other links to Ishigaki, Tarama and seasonal routes to mainland Japan. Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism figures show passenger numbers rising from about 1.7 million in 2023 to 1.9 million in 2024.
