Rewa Airport, Chorhata, REWA guide

Rewa Airport serves the city of Rewa in the Vindhya region of Madhya Pradesh. It stands at Chorhata, about 11 km from the city centre, and is a public domestic airport owned and run by the Airports Authority of India. The state government handed its old airstrip to the authority in December 2022.

The airport has one asphalt runway, 07/25, which is 1,800 m long. A new terminal building was inaugurated on 20 October 2024, and commercial flights followed. The terminal is small, with a planned floor area of 750 square metres and a peak-hour capacity of 50 passengers.

Alliance Air links Rewa with Delhi and other cities, and IndiGo added a daily service to Indore from 22 December 2025. Short regional hops to Jabalpur and Singrauli run under the PM Shri Tourism Air Services scheme. Traffic is still growing from a low base. The airport handled 1,877 passengers in 2024-25 and 20,690 in the year to March 2026, with 1,170 aircraft movements.
