Komodo International Airport is the gateway to Labuan Bajo, on the western tip of Flores in East Nusa Tenggara. It is the main entry point for Komodo National Park, home of the Komodo dragon, and for the liveaboard and day-boat trips that leave from the Labuan Bajo harbour. The airport sits on a hillside above the town and the sea, a short drive from the hotel and dive-shop strip.

The airport opened in 1980 and was known as Mutiara II Airport before it took its current name in 1991. It gained international status in April 2024. Cardig Aero Services, part of the CAS Group, operates it, and the Government of Indonesia owns it.

Traffic is mostly domestic. Garuda Indonesia, Citilink, Batik Air, Super Air Jet and Indonesia AirAsia fly to Jakarta, Denpasar and Surabaya. Wings Air links the town to other Flores airports, Kupang, Makassar, Lombok and Tambolaka. Scoot and AirAsia add international services to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.

The airport handled 1,017,995 passengers in 2024, up from 711,706 in 2019 and 942,194 in 2023. A 2022 expansion lifted the terminal building to 13,366 square metres, up from about 1,500 square metres in the 2010 terminal. The runway is 2,750 metres long on the Wikipedia figure, though the article also cites 2,650 metres after the expansion.
