S-Bahn Hamburg
S-Bahn Hamburg operates the S1 airport service that provides a direct, high-capacity rail link between Hamburg Airport (Flughafen) and central Hamburg (including Hamburg Hauptbahnhof and the city tunnel). The S1 serves the airport via an underground station beneath the terminals, is integrated into the HVV tariff system, and the operator runs its network on green electricity.
