Tumxuk Tangwangcheng Airport guide

Tumxuk Tangwangcheng Airport is a regional airport in southern Xinjiang, about 15 km from the centre of Tumxuk. It also serves the nearby counties of Maralbexi and Kalpin. The Chinese name is 图木舒克唐王城机场 and the ICAO code is ZWTS.

The Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps built and manages the airport. It was the Corps' second airport. The State Council and Central Military Commission approved the project in January 2014. Construction began on 12 March 2016 with an investment of 631 million yuan. The first commercial flight, a China Southern Airlines service from Ürümqi, landed on 26 December 2018.

The airport has one concrete runway, 02/20, 2,600 m long and 45 m wide, at an elevation of 1,090 m. The terminal covers 5,880 square metres and has two aerobridges. The site occupies 141.93 hectares. In 2025 the airport handled 451,920 passengers, 7,044 aircraft movements and 402.5 tonnes of cargo.
