Updated 2026-10-17Zhangye Ganzhou Airport serves Zhangye in Gansu province, in the Hexi Corridor. It lies in Ganzhou District, about 24 km from the city centre. The airport is dual-use, shared by civil and military aviation, and was converted from the former Air Force Zhangye Airport. Reconstruction began in May 2010 at an estimated cost of 313 million yuan, and the airport opened to traffic on 1 November 2011. The first scheduled flight was a Tianjin Airlines Embraer 145 on the Xi'an-Lanzhou-Zhangye route.
