Wanzhou Wuqiao Airport (ICAO: ZUWX) is the civil airport for Wanzhou District in the east of Chongqing Municipality, on the Yangtze corridor near the Sichuan and Hubei borders. Its Chinese name is 万州五桥机场, and older sources call it Wanxian Airport. It sits on a hilltop site at about 567 metres above sea level, formed by cutting into the mountains and filling the valley floor.

The airport opened on 29 May 2003 and handles scheduled domestic flights. It received provisional approval to process international passengers in 2015 and formal international status in 2022. The single concrete runway, designated 11/29, is built to code 4C, which suits Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 aircraft.

In 2025 the airport recorded 891,860 passengers and 12,789 aircraft movements. It also moved 732.1 tonnes of cargo. Routes run to Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai Pudong, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Kunming, Xiamen and Urumqi, among other cities. A second terminal building, started in August 2020 at a cost of about 510 million yuan, raises the planned annual passenger capacity to 2.5 million.
