Beihai Fucheng Airport guide

Beihai Fucheng Airport serves the Guangxi port city of Beihai from a site in Fucheng Town, in Yinhai District. It opened to traffic on 15 March 1987 with an 1,800 m runway. Approval for international service came in 1993, and the first charter flew to Hong Kong that year.

The airport has one concrete runway, 01/19, 3,200 m long. The passenger terminal covers 27,800 m2 and has five boarding bridges, expandable to eight. It is designed for 2.7 million passengers a year and 1,350 in the peak hour. An apron expansion that opened on 31 December 2020 added 22 stands and seven boarding bridges, and can handle aircraft up to the Airbus A330.

Traffic is domestic and led by flights to Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Wuhan. Air China, China Eastern, China Southern, Sichuan Airlines and Chengdu Airlines all fly here. In 2025 the airport handled 2,955,931 passengers, 20,536 aircraft movements and 5,038 tonnes of cargo.
